Berdine Petit. Bar Stools. December 15th , 2017.
If you have barstools, you need barstool covers. They help protect your stools and keep the elements from them. Wind, dirt, and sun can damage your barstools. By getting appropriate covers that fit your stools, you'll be able to keep them safe and clean for years. However, there are a few don'ts when it comes to covering your barstools. Read through the following Dos and Don'ts of barstool covers and get an idea of how to use them wisely (and how not to).
Barstools come in several styles. If you've ever been to a retailer of barstools or restaurant furniture, you probably know that many barstools stick with the traditional stool design, while others look like tall chairs. This, of course, depends on the use for the set of stools. Some, such as adjustable and swivel stools at a counter, are stationary in location but pub-style stools - the ones that look like tall chairs - need to be moved around for seating purposes. In addition, the style you're going for only includes some types of barstools. For example, chrome-colored adjustable barstools may be at home at a retro-style diner counter but not at an upscale bistro with contemporary style.
Barstool Cover Dos. Always Cover Your Stools when Not in Use. Even if it's only for a day, you should always cover your barstools when you're not using them. If you let them sit out in the sun, they can begin to fade. And letting dirt and dust build up on them won't help them either. So every time they're not in use, put a cover over them.
The classic bar stools are backless barstools, but if you crave back support there are stools that have backs on them. There is also the swivel stool which allows you to move freely, spinning about in any direction you choose. The cleanest of the barstools would be the wooden stool. Sometimes simpler is better and the clean lines also bring a sophisticated look or modern feel to any room or bar.
